Nestled off the busy Interstate in Basking Ridge, the Olde Mill Inn offers a delightful blend of history and comfort. I recently celebrated Easter here with a couple of friends, and we felt right at home in our well-appointed, spacious room, boasting an inviting kitchenette and a cozy bed—perfect for winding down after our adventures. The ambiance was quiet despite the bustling highway, which is a blessing for any traveler. We enjoyed leisurely meals at the Grain House Restaurant, where the locally sourced cuisine is a treat and the historical charm of the space added character to our dining experience. A special touch was grabbing a bottle of wine from Michael at the front desk to enjoy by their lovely fire pit—definitely a cherished moment! With beautiful gardens to stroll through and inviting staff, the Olde Mill Inn is a hidden gem worthy of both a family getaway and a restful retreat.
